Are you a high quality teacher who has struggled to balance work and life? Is teaching still a passion but you’d like to drop your children at school in the morning?
At Cedars Academy we have an exciting opportunity for a full time PPA/Cover Teacher role with the potential for some flexibility in start time. The role will cover PPA, absence and training across the school. Your week will be varied and could change at short notice. To cope with the nature of the position you will need to have a creative and inspirational approach to teaching.
You will support the full time class teachers to drive the curriculum forward and motivate both children and adults to do the same. You will have high expectations and a willingness to adapt. A high level of competency in all areas of the KS2 curriculum is essential, as is a good sense of humour. You must have a positive approach, be determined, resilient and approachable to all.
This role is a highly sought after position. PPA, Cover Teacher, Float Teacher and non-class based roles of this nature are not widely available. So, if you are a teacher who has a passion for thinking outside of the box, taking risks and pushing the boundaries of education and yet would still like a better work life balance, then we would love to hear from you. We want people to apply who are child centred, reflective, passionate and have real potential.
As part of Robin Hood Multi Academy Trust, Cedars Academy is quickly developing a reputation as a school that likes to push the boundaries of education. We have a growth mindset philosophy that ensures that the whole school community is focused on personal development and self growth.
If you fit this criteria then we would love you to visit our school in order to gain an understanding of how we operate and meet our friendly staff. The successful candidate will receive the highest level of professional development, from an incredibly dedicated team who are all genuinely driven to do the best for every member of our school community.
